Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Create a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the cream cheese mixture.
- Sear the chicken in an oven-safe skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Sprinkle Parmesan on top and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lower-calorie alternative, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
