Ingredients

Oreo Cookies (20-24 cookies)

Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup, melted)

Cream Cheese (24 oz, full-fat)

Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup)

Sour Cream (1 cup)

Red Velvet Cake Mix (1 cup)

Eggs (3 large)

Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)

Whipped Cream (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they form fine crumbs.
  3. Combine the crushed cookies with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium speed until smooth.
  5. Gradually add granulated sugar, mixing until well blended.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Blend in sour cream, red velvet cake mix, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth it out evenly.

  10. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for an hour.
  11. Let it cool completely at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
