Description

These brownie muffins combine the rich fudginess of brownies with the convenience of muffins, offering a delightful chocolate treat.


Ingredients

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing well.
  5. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the sugars and mix until smooth.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
