Ingredients

- 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- Mini Cupcake Liners
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Line a mini muffin or cupcake pan with mini cupcake liners.
- Carefully coat the insides of the cupcake liners with melted chocolate.
- If using store-bought caramel, warm it slightly; if making from scratch, cook sugar and water until golden, then stir in cream and sea salt.
- Fill each chocolate cup with warm caramel, leaving space for more chocolate.
- Melt another batch of chocolate and pour it over the caramel-filled cups, sealing them.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Remove from liners and serve on a festive platter.
Notes
For best results, avoid scorching the chocolate by melting in short bursts and stirring frequently.
