Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes until set.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until creamy.
  3. Gently fold in chopped cherries.
  4. Whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese and cherry mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and garnish with additional cherries and cocoa powder.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
