Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes until set.
- Beat softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until creamy.
- Gently fold in chopped cherries.
- Whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese and cherry mixture.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and garnish with additional cherries and cocoa powder.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
