- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Fold in the shredded coconut.
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, spread and pack the batter evenly in the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes until edges are firm.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
To make these bars vegan, substitute maple syrup with agave syrup if needed.
