Description

Easy and delicious Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars that deliver all the comforting flavors of cinnamon rolls without the complexity.


Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 large egg

1 tablespoon baking powder

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Powdered sugar (for frosting)

4 oz cream cheese, softened (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly, then whisk in the egg. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Allow the bars to cool for about 10 minutes, then prepare the frosting with powdered sugar, milk, and soft cream cheese, drizzle over the bars, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute the egg with a flaxseed egg and use coconut oil instead of butter.
