Description

Delicious and nutritious cottage cheese chips that are high in protein and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup cottage cheese

2 tablespoons cornstarch (or arrowroot powder)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt to taste

1/2 cup cheddar cheese (optional)

Spices (optional): paprika, oregano, or cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, and salt. Add cheddar cheese and spices if desired.
  3. Blend until smooth using a blender or hand mixer.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until edges are golden and center is firm.
  6. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and slice into chip shapes. Return to oven for an additional 5-10 minutes for extra crispness.
  7. Let cool and enjoy with your favorite dip or on their own!

Notes

Store leftover chips in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage. Re-crisp in the oven if needed.
