Description
This easy banana bark recipe is a no-bake, freezer-friendly snack made with just a handful of ingredients. It’s sweet, crunchy, and endlessly customizable—perfect for busy families, kids, or anyone who loves a quick and healthy treat.
Ingredients
2–3 ripe bananas, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips (or chocolate bar, chopped)
2–3 tablespoons creamy nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
¼ cup toppings of choice (chopped nuts, shredded coconut, granola, or mini chocolate chips)
Pinch of sea salt (optional, for a sweet-salty finish)
Instructions
Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice bananas into thin rounds and arrange in a slightly overlapping layer on the tray.
Drizzle nut butter over the banana slices.
Melt chocolate in the microwave (20–30 second intervals, stirring between) until smooth.
Pour melted chocolate over the bananas and nut butter, spreading evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle toppings of your choice over the chocolate layer.
Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once frozen, lift bark out of the pan, break into pieces, and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
Use ripe bananas with brown spots for the sweetest flavor.
Warm nut butter slightly if it’s too thick to drizzle.
Store in the freezer for up to 2 months in an airtight container.
Let a piece sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes if too hard to bite straight from the freezer.
