Description
Delicious espresso hazelnut energy balls that are packed with nutrients and provide an energy boost for your busy day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup Espresso Powder
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Hazelnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup Nut Butter (Almond or Peanut)
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Coconut Flakes
- 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix rolled oats, espresso powder, hazelnuts, chia seeds, and coconut flakes. Stir well to ensure an even distribution of flavors.
- In a separate bowl, blend the nut butter and maple syrup until smooth. Gradually fold this mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Use your hands or a spatula to combine the ingredients fully. The mixture should be sticky yet manageable. If it’s too dry, add a teaspoon of water or more nut butter as needed.
- Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Alternatively, press the mixture into a lined baking dish for sliceable energy bars.
- Place the formed energy balls on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them set.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy your energy balls as a nutritious snack!
Notes
These energy balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for longer storage.
