1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
2 large Eggs
1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease four 6-ounce ramekins with butter, then lightly dust with flour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter and heat in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until thick and pale.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour and sea salt, then gradually fold into the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in the vanilla extract until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins.
- Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Let sit for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges and invert onto plates.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour. Consider adding espresso powder for an enhanced chocolate flavor.
