Description

Ingredients

1 cup Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa)

1/2 cup Unsalted Butter

1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

2 large Eggs

1/4 cup All-purpose Flour

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp Sea Salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease four 6-ounce ramekins with butter, then lightly dust with flour.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter and heat in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until thick and pale.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the flour and sea salt, then gradually fold into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Fold in the vanilla extract until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins.
  8. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Let sit for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges and invert onto plates.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour. Consider adding espresso powder for an enhanced chocolate flavor.
