Description

Cute, fluffy heart-shaped pancakes perfect for a romantic breakfast that expresses your feelings.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or Whole Wheat Flour)

2 teaspoons Baking Powder

2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar (or honey/maple syrup)

Pinch of Salt

1 cup Milk (or almond/oat milk)

1 large Egg (or flaxseed meal for vegan)

2 tablespoons Melted Butter (or coconut oil)

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Red or pink Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until blended.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently, leaving small lumps.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, fill it with batter halfway to form heart shapes.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles appear, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, topped with fresh fruits, whipped cream, or syrup.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep pancakes fluffy. Ensure the skillet is at medium heat for even cooking.
