Description

A refreshing twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring zesty limoncello and creamy mascarpone, perfect for summer indulgence.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup limoncello

1/4 cup water

2 cups mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

Zest of 1 lemon

4 egg yolks

1 package ladyfingers (gluten-free if needed)

Cocoa powder (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine limoncello and water; set aside.
  2. Whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and lemon zest until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg yolks until light; combine with mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the limoncello mixture and layer in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish if desired.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute limoncello with lemon juice and zest. Ensure to soak ladyfingers lightly to maintain texture.
