Ingredients

1 cup Milk

1/2 cup Butter, melted

1/4 cup Lemon Juice

1 tablespoon Lemon Zest

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Lemon, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Beat until fully mixed.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing gently.
  5. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray and pour the batter into the dish.
  6. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the batter, pressing them slightly into the surface.
  7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
