2 Pie Crusts
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Pepperoni (sliced)
1 can (14 oz) Diced Tomatoes
1 cup Bell Peppers (chopped)
1 large Onion (diced)
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 Egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and Italian seasoning. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Roll out one pie crust to fit your pie dish.
- Place the rolled-out pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and pour the filling mixture into it.
- Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the filling. Seal the edges by crimping and create a few slits on top.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the top crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Consider using whole wheat crust for a healthier option or low-fat cheese to cut down on calories.
