1 package Puff Pastry Sheets
1 cup Pesto
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Egg (for wash) or Olive Oil
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the puff pastry sheets to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into triangles, aiming for 6-8 triangles per sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of pesto on each triangle, leaving about 1/2 inch clear at the bottom.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pesto.
- Starting from the wide side, roll each triangle into a tree shape and pinch the ends to seal.
- Place the rolled trees upright on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Lightly coat each tree with egg wash or olive oil.
- If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
