Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually mix in powdered sugar until fully incorporated.
  2. Pour in peppermint extract and adjust to taste.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls, placing on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 15-20 seconds.
  6. Dip each cream ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  7. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the dipped chocolate.
  8. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle crushed candy canes on top, then let them chill in the refrigerator for an additional 15 minutes.
