  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 2 large eggs (or flax eggs/applesauce for vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or coconut sugar for healthier alternative)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your donut pan with cooking spray or oil.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix SunButter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. In a small bowl, mash raspberries and mix in powdered sugar until smooth, adding water if too thick.
  10. Dip the cooled donuts into the raspberry glaze, allowing excess to drip off, then place back on the rack.
