Description

A stunning and delicious bruschetta wreath that combines fresh flavors of tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella, perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, torn
  • 1 cup mozzarella, torn into pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces and arrange on a baking sheet. Brush each side lightly with olive oil.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, mix the chopped cherry tomatoes, torn basil, olive oil, balsamic glaze, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Arrange the toasted bread slices in a circular shape on a platter.
  6. Spoon the tomato mixture generously over the bread slices.
  7. Add torn pieces of mozzarella over the toppings.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with whole basil leaves.
  9. Serve immediately while still crispy.

Notes

For a vegan option, swap mozzarella for vegan cheese. Serve with optional dips like hummus or tzatziki.
