Instructions

  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Incorporate the Egg and Vanilla: Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Blend in Honey or Molasses: Incorporate honey or molasses until well combined.
