A delightful and vibrant cranberry jam that balances tart and sweet flavors, perfect for enhancing holiday meals.
Ingredients

2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water, sorting through to discard any that are soft or discolored.
- In a large saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, sugar, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon stick, and water. Stir well.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently until the cranberries start popping.
- Continue cooking for 15–20 minutes until the jam thickens.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and discard the cinnamon stick. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Pour the cranberry jam into sterilized glass jars, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freeze for up to six months.
